MCC Atom, Peewee, Bantam 2013 Summer Program
(9-15 years old as of Jan. 1st 2013)
Program Description:
This twenty-two week, two-tiered training and racing program is designed to accommodate the technical and tactical training processes of various developing Canoe and Kayak athletes. The MCC’s core values of achieving individual and team excellence within a safe and pleasurable environment will be fostered in the Bantam Racing Program. Beginners are highly encouraged to join this program. We have many boats and racing opportunities for those with no formal Canoe or Kayak experience. This is an exceptional program that will build lifelong skills while enhancing the development of every athlete.
Program Begins Tuesday, April 20th @ 4pm – Ends September 28th 2013

Important Dates for the 2013 Atom, Peewee, Bantam Program:
- Registration Day, April 6th 10am – noon
- Mississauga Home Regatta, June 8th
- Sudbury Regatta July 14th *tentative
- W.O.D Trials, Welland, July 27th- 28th (Very Important!)
- W.O.D Atom Championships (Atoms only), MCC, August 7th
- Trillium Championships (Atoms excluded), Ottawa, August 18th (Very Important!)
- *Other events/dates to be announced via coaching staff email communication
Atom, Peewee, Bantam Program Cost: $515 + HST= $581.95 plus 1 volunteer commitment plus 1 Bingo per participant.
*All participants are required to purchase a club-racing singlet in order to compete. Singlets cost $50 and are available through club officials.
*Swimming Requirement: Aquaquest 6 or equivalent
NSF fee $25, Program withdrawal fee $50, program: non refundable after one month
