MCC Kayak and Canoe Kids Camp
(Half Day, Full Day and Extended Day)
Camp Description:
This is an introductory camp to canoeing and kayaking for children and is taught by Kanu Kids Certified Instructors. Instructor to participant ratio is 1:8. The program is intended for beginner paddlers. Participants will enjoy a variety of on water, dry land and cooperative games. Each week concludes with a fun Regatta. Emphasis is placed on learning the paddling fundamentals and skills in a fun environment. No prior kayaking or canoeing experience required. As a safety precaution, all participants must hold a ‘Swim To Survive’ or higher certificate (roll into deep water, tread water for 1 minute, swim 50 meters). The program is a partnership between the City of Mississauga and the Mississauga Canoe Club.

Camps Begin the week of July 2nd and runs weekly through August 17th 2013
Summer Camp Cost:
$232.75 + HST per week (Full Day, 9am-4pm)
$285.25 + HST per week (Extended Day, 7:30am-5:30pm)
$225.00 + HST per week (Half Day, 1pm-4pm)
